Serge Olivier Fokoua was born in Cameroon and now resides in Gatineau, Quebec. He has received academic training in Cameroon and Germany and is President of the artists collective, Les Palettes du KAMER, and director of the international visual art Festival RAVY, both in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He has shown his work internationally in Canada, France, Cameroon, Germany, Finland, and the United States.
