NIK is a Serbian performative artist, currently based in Calgary. In their most recent work, they explore the spectrum between Eastern European culture and western culture. Through their body they seek to find a safe space to exist in between two extremes. NIK has performed in IKG Live2, along with Sled Island partnered with The New Gallery, and they will be performing in up-coming M:ST 9 Biennial for Rita McKeough’s book launch. NIK had graduated with a BFA from Alberta College of Art + Design in drawing.
