Artist reception: Arts Commons,  upper centre court

I feel as though I am standing in a fast flowing river with the water being my life. The current surrounds me. With my arms stretched out I am helpless. Attempting to stop the course of nature, yet the instantaneous, fierce and hurling force of time just slips through my fingers.

Yesterday feels like five minutes ago, a year feels like a month, making my life feel as if time has stolen so many years.

My work is my truth. A moral sense that no one should be lied too.

A space that is occupied for a brief moment in time.

An exploration of the physical process of time, where I endeavour to stop it from moving forward,

a hopeless effort in which I am destined to fail.
