Bodily Response is a live stream series created in response to the impact that our community members are experiencing worldwide due to pandemic related restrictions on movement, physical distancing, project cancellations, and layoffs. COVID-19 has affected people in ways that are impossible to describe here, and this project’s capacity to support artists is far from exhaustive. Our goal was to democratize the capacity to work from home by creating and disseminating a performative platform that can be engaged with from home. Local and global artists were invited to submit proposals for performative works to be presented live online. Performances occurred in the artist’s home or place of residence with readily accessible materials, and performers streamed from their own computers or phones. Projects streamed to our home page during the streaming period.

Performance recordings are available. Click on the individual performance pages below to view.
