Founded in 1999, musical and artistic duo Geneviève et Matthieu, have developed a multi-disciplinary approach to their craft which enables them to critique contemporary culture while simultaneously performing it.

Both artists have bachelor’s degrees in visual arts and have been working together since the early 2000’s. They are coordinators of the Artist-Run Centre, L’Ecart, and the Biennale d’art performatif in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, where they live and work.
